Our Story

Learning That Connects — from Bangkok to Wherever You Are

Synapse Lab was built around a simple idea: that understanding AI development should feel like following a map, not wandering in the dark.

Who We Are

Built by Practitioners, for Learners

Synapse Lab was founded in Bangkok by a group of software engineers and data practitioners who kept noticing the same problem: most online learning felt disconnected. You'd finish one module and have no clear idea what came next or why it mattered.

We designed everything at Synapse Lab around the opposite principle. Each lesson is a node. Each course is a path between nodes. Prerequisites are visible. The direction of progress is always clear. When you finish a module, you know exactly where you are on the map and what opening up in front of you.

Our courses cover AI development from the ground up — beginning with core programming concepts and building toward applied machine learning. We keep groups small, so mentors can give real feedback on real code rather than automated scores on multiple-choice questions.

We're based at 29 Soi Ruam Rudi in Bangkok's Lumphini district, and our courses are open to anyone with a stable internet connection and a willingness to put in consistent effort.

Our Mission

To make AI development skills accessible through structured, connected learning — where every lesson builds on the last and every learner receives real human support along the way.

Our Approach

Three courses form a connected path. You can enter at any node that matches your current level, move at a pace that fits your schedule, and leave each course with a portfolio project that demonstrates what you've built — not just what you've read.

The Team

People Behind the Paths

A small core team of educators and practitioners who write the curriculum, mentor the learners, and keep the community active.

AP

Ariya Prachak

Head of Curriculum

Former software engineer with eight years in data systems. Ariya designed the node-based learning structure and writes the core technical content for all three courses.

ST

Suwanee Thamrong

Lead Mentor

Machine learning practitioner and educator. Suwanee reviews learner projects, leads live sessions on the Full Network Programme, and develops the feedback frameworks used across all courses.

NK

Natthapong Kaewdee

Community & Learner Support

Handles enrolment, learner communications, and keeps the peer community running smoothly. Natthapong is usually the first person you'll hear from when you reach out.

Standards

How We Keep the Quality Consistent

Regular Curriculum Review

Course content is reviewed on a rolling basis. When tools or techniques shift, the materials are updated so learners work with approaches that reflect current practice.

Structured Feedback Protocol

Every project submission receives written feedback within a defined response window. Mentors follow a consistent review framework so comments are useful, not vague.

Data Privacy Commitment

We collect only what's needed to support your learning. Learner data is stored securely and never sold or shared for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for the specifics.

Clear Learning Prerequisites

Each course specifies what you need coming in. No surprise knowledge gaps mid-way through — you'll know before you enrol whether you're ready for a given node.

Managed Group Sizes

We keep cohorts small so mentors can respond thoughtfully rather than pushing through a queue. When a group is full, we open a new one rather than stretch capacity.

Portfolio-Oriented Outcomes

Every course produces something you can actually show — a completed project with documented code. This is the standard we hold the curriculum to, not just test scores.

AI Development Learning in Bangkok — What Synapse Lab Offers

Synapse Lab sits at the intersection of structured software education and applied AI skills. Our three-course path covers the full arc from programming foundations to working with datasets and building machine learning models. The network metaphor isn't just cosmetic — it reflects how the curriculum is actually built, with each section explicitly referencing what came before and what comes next.

For learners in Thailand looking to develop technical skills in AI, the online format removes the friction of location while the Bangkok-based team provides the kind of responsive, personal support that large-scale platforms typically can't offer. Office hours run Monday through Saturday, and learner messages receive replies within one working day.

The Full Network Programme is designed for people who want to move through the complete path in one commitment, with live mentor sessions and a peer group throughout. Individual courses — Connect the Basics and Linking Data & Learning — are available for those who want to start at a single node and decide later whether to continue. All pricing is in Thai Baht and displayed clearly before enrolment.
